In this year’s Grand One finals, our customer Terveystalo was shortlisted in the category of Best User Experience.
This year’s Grand One gives us great reasons to celebrate: The finals will be an actual, on-site party instead of just a live stream – and – we get to share the excitement of the evening with our customer Terveystalo.
Our customers Aurinkomatkat, Bolt, VR, Tallink, Slush, ABB and Yle have made it to the Grand One finals in previous years, and all of them also came home with honorary mentions or awards.
We think Terveystalo is a really strong competitor in this year’s finals.
Terveystalo’s new online booking
Terveystalo’s new online booking service is safe, easy to use and tailored to suit the changing needs of Terveystalo’s customers. It uses strong customer authentication in a manner that doesn’t disturb the user experience but enables better personalisation. The service was also designed with clear business metrics in mind.
Customer feedback has been extremely positive, with a Customer Effort Score of 4.4. The service has also increased the conversion rate by 42 percent, remote appointments by 334 percent and online bookings by 48 percent.
Qvik’s reinforcement on this team was senior product designer Jukka Forsten, who had a crucial role in designing the user flow and other key elements of the service. The online booking service also piloted Terveystalo’s new design system, for which Forsten was the design lead.
Laura Ojala from Qvik is an official judge in Best Design and Best Implementation
Our senior product designer Laura Ojala was invited to participate in this year’s Grand One competition as a judge. We have the makings of a tradition here, as senior product designer Samuli Saarikoski and former head of design Matias Pietilä have represented Qvik on the jury in previous years.
“Having worked with various industries and in a wide variety of projects, I knew I’d have something to offer as a judge and be able to look at the entries from diverse perspectives”, Ojala says.
There are 19 categories in this year’s competition and four judges in every category. As a judge in two categories, Ojala rated over fifty entries.
“The competition is tough this year – we saw a lot of really good entries. It was really interesting but, being me and wanting to do a thorough job, actually also pretty time consuming to go through all the entries.”
The Grand One Gala will be held on April 7 in Kattilahalli, Helsinki. We can’t wait!
