We’re looking for a New Business Lead to work side-by-side with the Finnish team to build our Nordic business. Until now our main market has been Finland, but since many of our clients are in the Nordics, it felt natural for us to look to the same direction. Therefore, we’ve founded Qvik’s Swedish subsidiary and are now looking to hire our first local Qvikies.
We’re looking for someone who’s keen on combining their tech-savvyness with their sales drive. You understand how to approach a potential customer to score the first meeting with them. You do your background work but still carefully listen to the customer to be able to find them just the right solution. Your understanding of modern technologies and the field of digitalization in general are on a high level to be able to both sell and, in many cases also consult, our customers in their business development challenges.
In addition to sales measures, you will be digging deep into our focus customers’ digital businesses and service development needs. You will be finding fresh angles for how we could support our existing and new customers. Whether it’s understanding what the top promises of Google Cloud are for creating lasting business impact, what happens in the payment scene nowadays, or how the mobile channel can be leveraged for loyalty programs, you talk enough tech to get us into the right tables.
All this means that your background is probably already in tech-driven business consulting with sales responsibility. You prefer projects and clients where agile development is possible. You have also worked with teams of designers and developers before. You are fluent in English. Also, since it’s a new market for Qvik, we’re expecting you to have an entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to be a sparring partner for your colleagues regarding the Swedish market. Also, you should have the possibility to come to Helsinki for onboarding to meet your new Finnish colleagues.
